That would be an interesting topic to explore. I never really thought about it before. I might take that up as a research topic.

I think it depends where in the world someone of African descent lives. In the United States, they usually wear the same traditional white gowns and veils. They might also have the church or the park or whatever. However, in other areas of the world they wear the multi-colored historical dresses, and might play music that represents their heritage, such as the famous African drum music.

When you say Black African are you talking about South Africans, North Africans, or some other location? I know in some locations of the world they might have far different ceremonies than they would in the United States, for instance.
