If I were to actually afford to have an Australian wedding I would probably would want the destination to be somewhere near the sea. I think the Great Barrier Reefs would be an excellent spot or perhaps a more obscure spot within one of this continent's many national parks that would be near water.
If I remember right, Australia is known for its many gorges. Of course, if I were allowed to have my wedding in a tropical rain forest jungle that might be fun too. I suppose I would have to be somewhat practical though if I were to have guests. (Some people just video record the entire event and then have a reception back home.)
