« on: December 11, 2011, 08:21:57 AM »
My family member getting married in the U.S to a Chilean. He moved to the US when he was 15. People from Chile will be coming to our wedding. What are the major differences between a US wedding and a Chilean wedding? Our ceremony will be in a Catholic Church?
Thank you for any info!!!!

Wow, two different cultures. :) I think it depends on how "westernized" the Chilean is. They might play music that is indicative of their locality. However, they could also just enjoy the more conservative modern-day kind of wedding. One thing I just learned, is this country is predominately Catholic, so some of the ceremonies might model that. I think this country has just as many varieties of ways to celebrate as other places in the world.
