A Cousin Married in Hawaii
« on: November 24, 2011, 11:19:55 AM »
I didn't get to go to my cousin's wedding when she was married in Hawaii. However, we got a chance to see the entire thing on video. If I had a copy I would like to show you. It was beautiful. Traditional Hawaiian guitar music was playing as she walked down the aisle in attire suitable for a tropical island. Her groom now my cousin-in-law looked pretty sharp as well. I don't remember what he wore though, but I think it may have been a Hawaiian shirt. This wedding took place almost 10 years ago already.

I spent a little time in Hawaii. I would love to have a beach wedding in Hawaii. Waimea Falls is so beautiful. If I had to pick a place it would be there. But I doubt I can afford it. Hence, my wedding will probably be close to home.

I know how you feel. However, if you have enough people supporting your desires you might be able to afford it. Maybe there are ways to raise funds, such as becoming an Internet marketer.

Even if we could afford it ourselves, I doubt our family could. I hate to get married without family. Maybe we will make it our honeymoon place instead.

I know how you feel. I don't know if I could get married without family there either, as long as they are still on this earth. However, my cousins did plan a reception that was location. Just not the wedding part.

You got me thinking. Maybe instead of wedding gifts I can ask people to help pay for the wedding. Do you think that is inappropriate?

That wouldn't be so bad, to ask people to pay for the wedding. I know for my brother's wedding I found a poem on the Internet that was a creative, non-threatening way to ask people for money. I put it in the invites that I made for him.

yeh recently my mother tell me my aunt is getting married at the Chapel in June 2011. We were there last year and saw it and made all the arrangements, will be going back this June to do some more planning. The Chapel is small inside! They said it can hold 50 people, but that is shoulder to shoulder and people is standing sides.

A Hawaiian wedding. That sounds pretty. If I could afford it I wouldn't mind a beach wedding or honeymoon.

For the past few years I have really been wanting to visit Hawaii. It just seems like a wonderful place. I even tried learning a little bit of Hawaiian!

That's very true. It might not be a good idea to have the wedding there. But I bet a honeymoon in Hawaii would be amazing!
