If I was a guy
« on: November 28, 2011, 11:50:55 AM »
Men can seem to not stress out like most women do, or at least  that seems to be the case for me. I stress out easily while my husband can take most things in stride. If he does get up tight, he may have a brief moment of anxiety but he seems to eventually be able to brush it off and move on.

Why are men like that? Why can they live on beer, pretzels and be as happy as a pig in a mud hole?

Don't get me wrong, I love my husband, but I must admit there are times I'm almost envious of how he doesn't seem to be concerned about things. He is a great provider, works hard but every once in a while I would like him to get just as upset about the Christmas lights blinking when they shouldn't be blinking, when I can't remember where the heck I put my car keys, and when my son starts taking notice of girls and I want him to stay 3 years old. Oh well, I guess being a guy is being a guy.

I wish my ex fiance was more relaxed like your husband. LOL I need a relaxed, laid-back person to help balance me out. I hope I find someone like that some day. My bf is like that but he says he doesn't ever want to get married again.

I'm pretty easy-going for a woman. Still, my fiance definitely beats me in the laid-back department. Hands down he is way more relaxed than me and not as much bothers me. I think men and women who are right for each other balance each other out.

Every man in my family is definitely like that. They just lie on the couch without a care in the world. I have no idea how they do it.

My fiance and me are very simple, laid-back people. We actually live with a bunch of other people. We love it. :) How we live is not for everyone though. We are kind of like hippies I guess you can say, or Bohemian??

One thing is certain, we will never understand guys (and vice versa).

It is hard to imagine what they are thinking about and why do the no care about the thing we do, but I think it is natural and should not be changed (ok maybe a little :)).
