Planning your own or having it planned?
« on: December 04, 2011, 04:35:55 PM »
Are you planning your own wedding or having it planned? What I mean is are you hiring a wedding planner? Are you making all the arrangements yourself? Are family members helping you? I know for me cost would be a factor as to how much work of my own I would put into it.

I might have family help too if and when I actually ever get married. However, if I wanted it done my way it would be nice to have a wedding planner schedule everything.

I don't blame you. I would rather have a wedding planner do it. My mom and my to-be MIL are so overbearing sometimes. However, I'm unfortunately on a budget, but still strong-willed and insisting it be mine and my fiance's way. :)

My fiance and me and our families are probably going to plan the wedding. I might use a checklist to help me with each stage.

Planning a wedding is definitely not easy. Especially if you're the stressing kind. But family is always ready to help and offer useful advice.

I am considering hiring a planner for some of it as it can get extremely overwhelming incredibly quick.
